Started out as a bit of a fresh morning at 6.46am, but this walk was amazing! If you stay at Putts Corner, then this one is well worth the adventure. It’s not for the faint of heart for sure with over 1200ft ascent and of 1100ft in decent, BUT wow the views are amazing. Every corner I seemed to turn it was amazing views. Got a little scared on the drop/path off of Pen Hill but just took it slow and got down.
When you get to Sandcombe Farm, you go around the farm and then head straight, the footpath sign is not very clear, and it’s very much walking boots and gaiters walk if you have them.
