Adventure details for: Gowerton to Swansea – Cycle and Walking
Started out in Gowerton caravan and motorhome club, start we’ve had to cycle along the roads, before joining national cycle route 4. Cycled all the way down to Swansea along this route, through the Clyne Valley Country Park, straight onto the beach front at Swansea. For me on the day it reminded me of being in the USA and route 1 on the West Coast.
Cycled towards The Mumbles and Mumbles Pier, great views from that point. You can also head down a set of steps if you want at the head. Me I head breakfast on the The Beach Hut and hot chocolate, before heading onwards.
Cycled around to Bracelet Bay, and the views just got better and better from then on, was a sunny day with wind blowing. Then onto Langland Bay, BUT this had to walk as not cycling on this path.
Then headed up and back towards Swansea, past the University, really didn’t like the look of the Industrial area, so headed back from that point, 24 miles in total.
