Early start to this little adventure which turned out to be quite a long one in the end, headed out of Burford Club (Caravan and Motor) at around 6.59 am, going the wrong way to start with, just while I was getting my bearings on surroundings.
Then walk back past the site, which also happens to be opposite the Cotswold wildlife park. A little bit of road walking on this one, before hitting Bridleway D’Arcy Dalton Way. The only other choice was Dead Man’s Walk Bridleway, which didn’t fancy at that time in the morning.
White thank you almost to Filkins village, a small village with a church maybe a pub and would have been a water mill as well at some time. Headed out of the village towards Eastleach Martin, using footpaths, but on the last bit and is up using roads which were very quiet, single-track roads.
Bumped into a met the gentleman that runs my personalised jewellery, and listened to how the couple built their businesses. Afterwards had a look at the website of what they’re doing, have to say some amazing jewellery laser engraved and personalise to you. A cottage business in the Cotswolds.

In the afternoon decided to cycle the ‘Failed Road’ sign I had seen in the morning, which added another 6 miles by the time I’d gone around in a loop.
